We would like to thank those individuals, foundations, and corporations who are supporting the KYO through donations, gifts in kind and advertising, and who are volunteering their talent and time so that we can continue to provide excellent musical opportunities and quality education to the talented musicians who make up the Orchestra.

Donations

Contributions support the KYO's concert series, rental of rehearsal space, educational field trips for our young musicians, and outreach concerts. Donations of any amount are welcome at any time. Please make your cheque payable to:

Volunteers

Orchestra Manager

The KYO is currently in need of a volunteer orchestra manager who can be available Sunday afternoons from September until May to:
  • Act as primary contact for musicians, parents, conductor, administrative secretary
  • Schedule and book rehearsal and performance space
  • Manage rehearsals (coordinate sectionals, coordinate music library, supervise rehearsal volunteers)
  • Manage concert production (secure extra musicians/music; set up and take down equipment)
  • Promote and manage spring and fall auditions.
    Your name will be included on the donations page of the next four concert programs and a receipt for income tax purposes will be forwarded to the address on the cheque.
